Important notes

Keep your home pharmacy in a dry and cool place (not in a cupboard in the bathroom or kitchen). Moisture and heat can lead to changes in the medicines.

Keep your medication in a locked cupboard, out of the reach of children.

Potassium iodide tablets should only be taken on the express order of the health authorities! If taken carelessly, they can be harmful.

Make sure that you have a sufficient supply for several days, especially when it comes to long-term medication (medication for the treatment of chronic illnesses).

Ask your local pharmacy or GP for advice on specific products.

Active ingredients may lose their effectiveness after the expiry date. Check the expiry dates of your medicines at regular intervals (e.g. every six months).
